In Greg's many experiences, this Indianapolis
native has performed on stage with such notable Indiana musicians as
Carrie Newcomer and the late blues icons Yank Rachell and Lefty Bates.
Recently he has opened for Glen Phillips of Toad The Wet Sprocket fame.
In the 1980s he was the bass player and founding member of the now legendary psychedelic band The Spirtles who played to packed houses at clubs such as the Vogue and Bloomington's Bluebird and opened for national acts such as Spirit, America and Merl Saunders, The Blasters and the Rain Forest Band.
In the 1990s, Greg was guitarist/vocalist and co-founder of Indy's own groove rock band, Earthbones. Earthbones performed many live shows with the vanguard pedal steel guitarist Buddy Cage, formerly of the New Riders of the Purple Sage. In 1998, Earthbones released their well received self-titled debut CD which was positively reviewed in the national publication, Relix magazine.
Aside from his work as a solo performer, Greg also plays with Indy "newgrass" band, The Spud Puppies
